It’s been an exciting few weeks here at the shop as we’ve begun transitioning each space with holiday décor! The festive spirit is in the air, and we’re thrilled to share that our upholstery sale is in full swing through September 15th. Plus, our wood sale kicks off on September 15th and runs through the end of the month. These are our last sales of the year, so get 20% off on in stock and custom furniture while you can! It’s the perfect time to refresh your space – just in time for those holiday guests to begin arriving.

Now, let’s jump back into our room-by-room tour of the stunning Home No. 14 of the 2024 Artisan Home Tour! After exploring the beautifully furnished main and upper floors, it’s time to take you down to the lower level, where comfort meets style in every corner.

The Family Room

As you step into the lower level, you’re greeted by the cozy family room masterfully furnished by Jenna Luebbers. This space is designed for relaxation and family gatherings, featuring a white sofa adorned with a black and white lumbar pillow that creates a striking contrast, adding visual interest. The sofa is flanked by two leather armchairs, adding warmth and balance to the space. The central ottoman with a tray adds functionality and style, while the black etageres filled with decorative items bring a personal touch to the room while adding depth and texture, making the room feel both curated and lived in. The large, framed artwork behind the sofa grounds the elements in the space, and the recessed lighting completes the modern yet traditional and inviting atmosphere.

A hallway connecting the family room to the office features bison artwork above an upholstered bench with a gold frame. The transitional space sets the tone for the office, blending rustic charm with elegant touches.

The Office

Furnished by Reese Spangler, the office features a wood desk paired with a leather chair, creating a sleek and professional look. The brown upholstered armchairs add warmth and comfort, while natural light from the windows and light green lamps create a bright and inviting atmosphere, making it ideal for productivity. The framed wall artwork adds a personal and stylish touch, making this office a perfect blend of functionality and style.

The Media Room

Adjacent to the family room is the media room, a perfect retreat for movie nights, a kid’s hangout, or a relaxed evening with friends, furnished by Dianne Lowenberg. The large, dark grey sectional sofa, adorned with various patterned throw pillows, anchors the space. The sofa, upholstered ottoman, and comfy area rug invite you to sink in and enjoy the space. The wall-mounted television and the wood cabinet filled with decorative items add texture and warmth to the space while remaining functional and traditional. The light-colored walls and flooring contrast with the dark furniture, creating a balanced and stylish look.

The Golf Simulator Room

The lower level features a dedicated golf simulator room for golf enthusiasts, which Dianne Lowenberg also furnished. This space has synthetic turf flooring and a golf simulator system, making it a golfer’s dream come true. The high round table with stools offers a casual spot for relaxing between swings or socializing, while the decorative items and abstract wall art add a stylish touch to the room.

The Pub

The pub area, furnished by Dianne Lowenberg, is a cozy space perfect for entertaining. The gray cabinetry with gold handles, white marble backsplash, and under-cabinet lighting creates a sophisticated ambiance. The built-in banquette provides a comfortable spot for a drink, and the decorative items add a personal touch. The rug beneath the marble-top table defines the pub area and adds warmth, tying the room together.
