As we embrace the beauty of fall, let’s continue our room-by-room tour of the stunning home we had the pleasure of furnishing, built by Grace & Nell Homes for the Artisan Home Tour. Last week, we took you through the main floor, and this week we’re excited to head upstairs to the second floor where our designers thoughtfully curated each room to create a harmonious and inviting living space.

The Boy’s Bedroom
Furnished by Liz Pohl, the boys’ bedroom combines function and style. Dominated by navy blue and neutral tones, the space exudes a mellow and cozy atmosphere with a subtle coastal spin. The navy blue spindle bed and vibrant artwork set a youthful tone, making the room adaptable as a child grows. A traditional dresser in warm oak adds depth, while the side chair, with its geometric silhouette, is versatile enough to serve as a desk chair, lounge chair, or for playing video games. This chair, featured in our upholstery sale, is compact yet substantial, making it perfect for various uses. Easy-to-maintain washable bedding and abstract art that inject a pop of color complete this inviting room.
The Girl’s Bedroom
Reese Spangler curated furnishings for a space that beautifully balances youthful charm and sophistication. The girl’s bedroom features a striking blue-green upholstered bed and a stylish green dresser, which are also included in our upcoming sales. The green and white dot chairs and floral fabrics add delicate, feminine touches, while the bedding creates a perfect blend of elegance and playfulness with tweed, pink, and embroidered elements.
The artwork in the room adds a youthful and whimsical element, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Additionally, a cozy wallpapered nook has space for a desk featuring a beautifully upholstered chair, a pristine white desk, and charming artwork.
The Bunk Room
Anne Epstein’s bright and preppy aesthetic shines through in the bunk room, making it an ideal space for older kids and teens. The room features built-in bunk beds adorned with navy and white textiles, complemented by shades of blue and yellow against crisp white walls. Custom pillows with graphic elements like horses, flowers, and dots add a playful touch, keeping the space fun and relaxed.
A colorful rug anchors the room, providing a vibrant base for the white sofa, blue and white swivel chairs, and a small leather ottoman. The rich, dark wood coffee table creates a cozy spot for board games or reading. This versatile space can comfortably sleep four, making it a welcoming retreat for guests, cousins, grandkids, and friends.
The blue chest of drawers, topped with a charming blue and white gingham lamp, completes the space. Of course, the upholstered items in this room, including the swivel chairs and sofa, will be featured in our upholstery sale, while the wooden pieces, such as the coffee table and chest of drawers, will be part of our wood sale.
The Guest Suite
The guest suite, furnished by Anne Epstein, feels like a true oasis, combining comfort and style seamlessly. The room features a green and flax linear floral upholstered bed, complemented by coordinating swivel chairs and a green settee. Chinoiserie wall panels add an elegant touch, while a green upholstered bench and an ottoman provide additional seating options. Lovely gold flower lamps enhance the room’s warm and inviting atmosphere. The space is clean yet cozy, perfect for welcoming overnight or extended-stay guests.
Adjacent to the guest suite is a beautifully decorated office area with functionality and charm. The wooden desk, set atop an antelope skin-inspired patterned area rug, serves as a focal point, offering a sturdy and stylish workspace. The plaid green upholstered desk chair adds depth and sophistication.
The office also features vintage-style chairs with green frames and white upholstery, providing comfortable seating for visitors or a cozy spot for reading. A small round table between the chairs adds a convenient surface for a cup of coffee or a stack of books. The simple yet impactful artwork of polo players on the walls adds character, making this office not just a place to work but a space to enjoy and feel inspired.
