Nell Hill's was born out of a love for transforming homes into havens. In 1981, Mary Carol Garrity established Nell Hill's in an old bank building in her hometown of Atchison, Kansas. She named the store after her maternal grandmother, who was an early Kansas pioneer. Initially a gourmet food shop, Nell Hill's quickly transitioned into one of the Midwest's most sought-after home decor stores. Today, Nell Hill's is proudly owned by Katie Laughridge, who continues to uphold our tradition of excellence and innovation.
