The Nell Hill’s Workroom is the heart of our textile craftsmanship — a dedicated team of sewists who bring our designs to life. Almost every pillow, sham, cushion, duvet, and embroidered detail you see in the store begins here, crafted by hand in our Kansas City workroom.
Our team combines decades of experience in sewing, upholstery, embroidery, and finishing. Their work is the reason our textiles feel so special: thoughtful construction, beautiful finishing, and quality you can see.

Our workroom creates almost all of the textile pieces sold in-store and fulfills custom orders placed through our Textiles Department. This is where patterns are matched, trims are hand-applied, fills are selected, seams are finished beautifully, monograms are stitched, needlepoint is transformed into heirloom-quality pillows, and more.Every detail is intentional. Custom orders begin in our Textiles Department, where you choose fabrics, trims, and details. Once your selections are made, our workroom brings them to life.
