There are few things as wonderful as gathering for a holiday meal with your nearest and dearest. A beautiful table is the perfect complement to amazing food and company. I am always looking for ways to elevate my tables to create an extra special experience for my guests and have picked up a few show-stopping tips that I’m thrilled to be able to share with you today.
Our first fall holiday is fast approaching – Halloween is going to be here before we know it! As a seasonal décor fanatic I can hardly wait for the weather to start cooling off and the jack-o-lanterns to begin glowing. As a mother to a candy obsessed 3-year-old (and a person with quite the sweet tooth myself) I am especially excited to decorate our home to the nines this year to start instilling a love of holiday traditions with our family beyond trick-or-treating.

I recently received an Instagram message from a customer in need of tablescape inspiration for a Valentine’s Day dinner for her and 11 of her closest friends. She, like many of us, felt uninspired by the abundance of sparkly red hearts and chubby little cupids floating around this time of year. I totally get it! So of course, we did what we do best – we turned up some of our favorite tunes and got to work designing a solution!

As you read two weeks ago, I went on my first Market adventure Mary Carol and two of our visual team members in search of Christmas décor and decorative accents. And PHEW was it a wild ride. We’re sourcing products a full year ahead which is going to take some getting use to for this new gal!
