12 Days of Christmas Look: A Festive Recap

With Christmas just 16 days away… (can you believe it?) it only feels right to revisit our 12 Days of Christmas look. While most of our Christmas decor flew out the door and there is not too much left to browse, we still hope to inspire you as you complete your decorating for the holiday season!

This look is built around the 12 Days of Christmas ornament set (which, as of this publication, a single box remains). This charming set includes 12 ornaments, each uniquely decorated with different colors and festive designs. The overall look is a whimsical and vibrant celebration of bright reds, greens, oranges, and yellows.

The lime greens throughout the space brighten up the look, while light yellows and punchy oranges add a playful touch. Complementing these colors are accents of fruit in ornaments, greenery, and ceramics. Yellow, orange, green, and red vases and ginger jars are strategically placed throughout the display to enhance and pull out the colors in the ornament set.

A standout piece in this look is a ceramic container made up figs washed in yellow making a bold statement and highlighting the bright color palette. The frosted trees add a touch of winter wonderland magic and create a crisp background for the energetic colors in the look.

Plaid ribbons are woven through the garlands and trees, adding a classic and cozy touch to the decor. The combination of plaid, white, and gold ribbons creates a beautiful contrast and adds depth to the festive look. The trees are adorned with the 12 Days of Christmas ornaments, and garlands draped around are filled with these delightful decorations. Lemon picks, and stems featuring pomegranates, holly, and white blooms are artfully placed into vases as well as into the tree, adding layers of texture and interest. For an extra dash of elegance, we’ve incorporated gold ribbon throughout the decor. These touches of gold add a luxurious feel to the festive setup.

To add a touch of whimsy, we’ve included petite lamps and small stags nestled on white side tables in the corners of the space. A cherry red faux bamboo bar cart pulls out the reds in the space and creates a striking pop of color. Atop the bar cart sits a gold Santa, and coordinating ice bucket, adding a touch jolly cheer. These little surprises bring a sense of wonder and delight to the display.

Do you like to decorate with the 12 Days theme at Christmastime? How many times has the song been stuck in your head this year so far? 😉 Tell me in the comments! Until next time – Happy Decorating!
