Christmas is Here! Introducing Père Noël, Our First Holiday Look of the Season

Christmas has arrived at Nell Hill's! (Yes, we know it's still September. 😉) We couldn't be more excited to share the very first Christmas look of the season.

Step into our Flint Hills room and you'll discover Père Noël; a charming blend of French-inspired holiday style, vintage treasures, and timeless Christmas tradition. Rich with nostalgic details and layered with natural textures, this look feels as though it was gathered over generations and lovingly brought together for the holidays.

 

 

At the heart of the look is a palette of muted reds, aged greens, soft neutrals, and touches of black creating a collected rather than decorated, elegant without being fussy, and festive but not chaotic feel.

 

 

 

The room is filled with charming nods to Christmases past. Vintage-inspired ornaments, strands of colorful and wooden beads, antique-style bells, and whimsical Father Christmas figures bring a sense of nostalgia and wonder to the space. Natural greenery softens every corner while ticking stripes, checks, and classic French-inspired patterns add warmth and character.

 

 

 

Père Noël effortlessly blends old-world charm with natural beauty. From weathered finishes, heirloom-inspired accents, and rustic sleds to rocking horses and timeless holiday accessories, the collection of items feels as though they’ve been passed down through generations. The look embraces authenticity and feels beautifully cozy, nostalgic, and welcoming.

 

 

 

 

As with all of our Christmas rooms, the look will continue to evolve throughout the season as treasures find new homes and fresh arrivals make their way into the shop. We're also excited to host two special pop-up events this fall. Join us on October 17 for a Pearly Co. Jewelry Pop-Up, where you'll find beautiful pieces perfect for gifting or treating yourself. Then, mark your calendars for November 7^th when Kansas City Ceramicist Irma Star will be in the shop with her collection of one-of-a-kind blue and white snowflake ornaments.
