There are a few days each year that feel like true holidays at Nell Hill’s — and our Annual Tent Sale is one of them. If you’ve been before, you already know the energy: doors open, coffee in hand, the sun barely up, and shoppers buzzing with excitement as they hunt for the kind of deals you talk about for years. If you’re new to the tradition, welcome. You’re in for a very fun Saturday.
This year’s Tent Sale takes place on Saturday, June 6, beginning bright and early at 8:00 AM at our Riverside Warehouse: 4205 NW Riverside St., Riverside, MO 64150
Think of it as a treasure hunt, but with major rewards. We’re talking deep discounts on furniture, fabric, décor, and more — up to 90% off. Pieces you’ve loved in the shop, furniture, fabric bolts, accessories… it’s all fair game, and it all goes fast.
Meanwhile, at the Shop…
While the tent is buzzing, our Briarcliff shop will also open early that day 9:00 AM. Inside, you’ll find a completely separate event: our 20% Off Upholstered Furniture Sale, happening all month long and starts today! This applies to in‑stock upholstery and custom orders, so if you’ve been dreaming up a new sofa, chair, or sectional in the perfect fabric, the shop is the place to be. The Tent Sale and the Upholstery Sale are two different experiences — one is the thrill of the hunt, the other is the joy of designing exactly what you want — and we love that you can enjoy both in the same weekend.
A Few Helpful Tips Before the Tent Sale
Come early – the best pieces move fast!
Bring measurements, photos of your space, and a tape measure.
If you’re planning to purchase furniture, make sure you have a vehicle ready or delivery arranged.
And most importantly: have fun. This day is meant to feel like an adventure.
Tent Sale Rules & Guidelines
To keep the morning smooth, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, please review the following:

ALL SALES FINAL. CREDIT CARD ONLY — cash and checks will not be accepted.

Do not remove tags from any items in the tent or warehouse.

Items left unattended and not paid for may be purchased by other shoppers.

Furniture Purchases

If you want to purchase a piece, notify a sales associate immediately so they can claim it for you.

They will take your card information right away — prepare for multiple transactions.

Once paid, our team will remove the piece from the tent and mark it as sold.

All furniture must be picked up by 1:00 PM, when the event ends.

Local delivery is available for $100 within a 30‑mile radius.
