A Late July Look Inside The Shop

It’s been a while since we toured you through the shop, and there’s so much to see as we start to say goodbye to summer and prepare for autumn. Summer’s easy brightness is still very much present, but you can already feel the seasonal shift. Rooms are being refreshed, new pieces are arriving, and early hints of fall are finding their places. Walking through the shop right now feels like moving through a series of layered, inviting spaces, each with its own personality. Let’s take a look!

 

Living Rooms Full of Character

As you step into the shop, you’re greeted by a tailored, handsome vignette that reflects the timeless Nell Hill’s aesthetic. The rich leather, tailored upholstery, and equestrian artwork create a grounded, heritage feel, softened by plaid pillows and sculptural accents. Shelving filled with decanters, ceramics, and books adds that collected touch Nell Hill’s is known for.

 

 

A few steps away, the palette lightens. Soft neutrals, blue-and-white pieces, wicker textures, and fresh greenery come together in a way that feels calm and breezy. Brass candlesticks, artichoke décor, and stacked books layer in quietly, giving the room warmth without weight.

 

 

Blue & White, Always Timeless

Blue and white continues to weave through the store in thoughtful, layered displays. Ceramics, lamps, trays, books, and small giftables gather on carts and shelves, mixing patterns and textures. I love these little moments because they feel classic and never static – they’re always shifting and inspiring.

A fabulous dining table moment is full of color and texture. A wood table dressed in patterned linens, woven accents, artichoke sculptures, and bright tulips sets a cheerful tone. Behind it, a cabinet filled with ceramics and accessories adds depth – I especially love this piece of furniture for a home not only to add personality to the space with favorite books and décor pieces, but also for storage.

 

 

 

Right now we have a great selection of serving ware, kitchen accessories, cookbooks, linens, and vibrant tabletop pieces. It’s a lively mix perfect for summer gatherings, hostess gifts, or adding a fresh pop of color to your own kitchen. Overhead, chandeliers with citrus motifs glow like little orange trees, giving the room a playful, sunlit feel. How fabulous are those?

A Mahjong table styled to perfection brings all the game‑night necessities together – tiles and racks, mats, pouches, and more create a colorful, joyful moment in the shop. The lanterns are a favorite; add a candle and you instantly have the chicest game‑night lighting in town. The whole display is such a delight, filled with accessories that make Mahjong feel vibrant and fun.

 

 

 

 

Soft Pastels & Botanical Art

In the Flint Hills room, soft pastels and botanical artwork create a serene atmosphere. A light blue sectional anchors the room, paired with a crisp white coffee table and an animal‑print rug that adds just the right amount of pattern. A gallery wall of botanicals brings freshness and cohesion, while a second botanical arrangement above a buffet continues the theme with colorful elegance.
