Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Kansas City artist Jill Opelka at her home studio. I had a wonderful time seeing her home and getting to know more about her and her work. Now that my spring cleaning is done (well…almost done) I’m ready to start introducing fresh spring décor to brighten up my house. As I begin this fun transition, I want to share some of my favorite ways to change my décor going into this light and bright season.

Instead, it has become a shared space for all who visit! I have found bringing decor and design into the kitchen a challenging but fun experience.
