Fabrics, Textures, and the Details That Make a Room Feel Collected

One of the things that sets Nell Hill’s apart is the sheer range of fabrics we have access to. While we carry fabric by the yard in the shop, our design studio also houses an extensive fabric library with thousands of swatches from trusted vendors that allow you to explore everything from performance linens and cozy textures to bold prints and quiet neutrals.

If you’re ordering a custom piece, we can apply any of these fabrics through COM (Customer’s Own Material), giving you even more flexibility to create something truly personal. (Just keep in mind that while the upholstered furniture pieces themselves are included in the sale, fabric purchases are not discounted, since they come from the fabric vendor rather than the furniture vendor).

And it’s not just sofas and chairs. Upholstered benches, ottomans, dining chairs, and pillows all play a role in creating that collected, comfortable look we love. Sometimes a single fabric becomes the spark that pulls a whole room together.
